Waterproof Travel Canister

Very happy with this. I use it for long trips as a pill case as it packs better and holds more than the standard pill case. It's great!

This met my expectations. I've used a salve in this with great success. The aluminum canister is thicker than I expected (maybe 3/32") and gives it a rigid feel (it doesn't flex at all). Plus, it can take direct heat/flame without damage (with the lid removed, naturally). It's not a polished finish, but that doesn't bother me.

The lid is 100% silicone with a tight friction fit (doesn't **** as I had originally thought). It is easy to remove with the tab and put on. You may even notice the fit is so tight that the lid traps air when putting the lid back on.

I like the aluminum & silicone combination material than some comparable steel (tin can like) containers I used previously. I'm sure this would hold semi-solid gel at room temp, but the gel might get all over the lid. Once the gel gets on the lid it has a greater chance of making it's way onto the outside of the container. Once a lubricant (in this case, gel) gets in-between the container and the lid it may slip off easier. I can't say for sure how this container would behave in that circumstance.

I'd say it's a quality item, regardless. I would like to see a similar size and shape product with a, more or less, semi-liquid tight lid that screws or locks on to prevent leaking. However, this product might fit that description if you put it to the test.

Just a simple easy to use canister for carrying. Simple, priced well, understated, functional, and pretty attractive. Happy with it for sure
