If your high-voltage appliance explicitly states that it is "dual voltage" then, yes. Please check your appliance specifications to confirm compatibility. The Global Travel Adapter should not be used with high-power AC appliances like hair dryers, heated hair tools, and other similar devices unless they are clearly labeled as “dual voltage” appliances. This device does not convert voltage.

What is the high-capacity PD35 port?
A PD35 port is a USB-C port supporting Power Delivery (PD) with up to 35 watts of output, enabling fast and efficient charging for smartphones, tablets, and smaller laptops. It dynamically adjusts power delivery to match the device's requirements, ensuring safe and optimized charging. This port receives priority relative to the Global Travel Adapter’s other USB-C and USB-A ports, making it the fastest and most efficient option for compatible devices. On average, the PD35 port can fast-charge a smartphone’s battery from 0-50% is less than 30 minutes.

What is “smart-charging” technology?
Smart-charging ensures that connected devices receive the optimal amount of power by automatically detecting their specific charging needs. This technology prevents overloading or undercharging, allowing multiple devices to charge safely, efficiently, and simultaneously without one device dominating the power supply.

Does the Global Travel Adapter include a spare fuse?
Yes. The Global Travel Adapter includes a spare 8A fuse. Should you need to replace the fuse, first open the “SPARE & FUSE” panel on the prong-side of the adapter. Pop-out the old fuse, found on the backside of the panel and discard. Pull out the adjacent spare fuse and insert it into the backside on the panel, then replace the panel on the adapter unit. How do I configured the Global Travel Adapter for use in Australia?
To use the Global Travel Adapter in Australia, slide the US/AUS tab forward, then twist each prong 45 degrees, as outlined by the arrows on the product. Additional information can be found in the instructions, included with the product.
