Perfect for day trips

Security too!

Just completed at trip to several cities in Italy where pick pockets are a real concern. I already like this pack for its smaller size, convenient compartments and durable material, but was additionally surprised to discover how secure the zippers are. In short, the small compartment closest to your neck has a loop to tuck the ends of the zipper making it impossible to quickly open. It is perfect for passport and money. The other two compartments similarly have zippers that can be managed to be difficult to open. Bottom line the design greatly reduced anxiety over security.

Great design, light weight and functional but undermined by weak stitching

Yes, the bag is lightweight and offers great functionality with its many compartments. However, the stitching quality could be improved. One of the shoulder straps started coming undone after just two weeks of use and three flights. It seems the load is supported by only a few stitches. I ended up taking the bag to a tailor to repair the damage and reinforce the other areas.
