The Speed Stash is a game changing upgrade for any pack, whether it’s travel, hiking, or daily carry.

Great little addition!

Love it as a small little pocket to add to any pack. Use mine every chance I can.

Hoping for a v2 of this

I love all my Matador products, even the small ones I didn’t expect much from. But this one isn’t what I was hoping for. The two main flaws I find are
(a) the padding is way too thick so it creates this awkward asymmetry on the straps. I wish the part under the strap was much thinner.
(b) there’s no internal divider so whatever loose sharp items like keys are in there will hopefully stay against the back side of the phone and when putting the phone back in you have to rearrange and can’t just stick it in. A simple internal divider would take care of that.

Maybe more advanced but another idea is if there was some secure quick release, so you’d just have a small attachment on the strap and you could quickly remove the whole external pocket and stow it, or maybe use it in a different way.

My main usage is when riding my motorcycle, so I stuff everything that would otherwise be in my pockets into the speed stash.

Bulky and Awkward

I have this on my Osprey Stratos 24. Because it has to sit above my chest strap, otherwise is drops to the bottom, it’s too high and in the way.
